Day 2 / Tour 1 : Sightseeing at the following places after breakfast:
Hadimba temple ( A 463 yr old temple situated in the middle of an ancient cedar forest, this famous temple is Dedicated to Goddess Hadimba. It has an intricately carved doorway and a four tiered pagoda roof giving it an exquisite look)
Manu Temple (This temple is dedicated to the sage Manu, from whom Manali got it’s name. Located in Old Manali, it is a must visit for many because it is considered the only temple in the world dedicated to Manu rishi, often considered as the creator of the world)
Tibetan monastery ( The Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa is located close to the Mall in Manali. Encircled by beautiful flowers, this peaceful Buddhist monastery is always fragrant with the aroma of incense sticks and flowers. It also houses the Thanka school of Arts to preserve the ancient Tibetan Art. You can find amazingly crafted woven carpets and handicrafts on display besides intricate paintings and scriptures depicting Lord Buddha’s life)
Day 3 / Tour 2 : Sightseeing at the following places after breakfast:
The Mall (The hub of the town, Manali mall is always abuzz with tourists from all over the world. Some of the best restaurants and pubs, in addition to the local markets make this place a must visit to feel the vibe of Manali)
Old Manali (Hidden away from the Main town but only a short distance from the Mall road, is the laid back and enchanting Old Manali. It’s famous cafe’s have some of the best ratings on travel review sites and the natural beauty of Old Manali is so stunning, it seems almost unreal)
Van Vihar (A favourite place among locals and tourists alike, Van Vihar National park is a municipal garden located near the Mall. The tall devdar trees, unique fauna and flora and the soothing sound of the Beas river flowing alongside make Van Vihar a great place for picnics, boat rides and spending a relaxing time with your loved ones. There are ample sitting spaces throughout the Park for you to sit and soak in the beauty of nature)
Vashisht (One of the very few places that offer Hot Springs baths with medicinal sulphur water, vashisht also has temples dedicated to sage Vashishta and Lord Rama. You can enjoy a relaxing hot water bath here in the pools close to the temple)
Day 4 / Tour 3 : Sightseeing at the following places after breakfast:
Towards Rohtang Pass. Driving 51 KMS north from Manali through sharp hairpin bends and bare rocky terrain takes us towards the mighty Rohtang Pass at an elevation of 3978 metres on the Eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas. Known as the gateway to the Lahaul and Spiti valley, the splendid panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges from here are beyond what can be described in words. You can also enjoy skiing, horse riding, Yak riding and Snow scooter rides. Although reaching the Pass depends upon weather conditions and permissions from the NGT, there are a couple of amazing places on the way to the Pass. About 6 KMS on the way from Manali is Nehru Kund, which is a clear water natural spring, named after Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. A picturesque spot that is extremely. popular among photography enthusiasts and nature lovers, it is believed the source of this spring is the Bhrigu Lake which is situated at an elevation of 4300 m. Next on this tour is the charming village Kothi at a distance of 15 KMS from Manali. It is a great vantage point to see the Beas river rushing through the deep gorge. Close by is Rahalla falls which is a cascade and punchbowl type of waterfall formed as a result of the melting glaciers.
Day 5 ( Return from Manali to Delhi -533 KMS or Manali to Chandigarh-309 KMS)
After breakfast and Check out from your Hotel, drive towards Chandigarh or Delhi. After reaching in evening time drop off with happy memories at Airport or railway station as required.
