Day 1 (Delhi to Shimla -370 KMS or Chandigarh to Shimla -113 KMS)

The first day of the tour starts with travelling from Delhi/Chandigarh to Shimla by cab or Volvo bus service. Check in after arrival in the evening and overnight stay in the hotel with dinner.

Day 2 / Tour 1 (Shimla local sightseeing tour)

After breakfast at your hotel in Shimla, you can choose from the following sights to visit within the city according to your interests :-

Colonial era city tour- This tour starts with visiting the Christ Church ( Neo -Gothic style Church built in 1857, making it the second oldest church in North India) located on the The Ridge. Attractions include Horse rides, open amphitheatre of the Gaiety Theatre and the Scandal Point). This is close to the central hub of the town, The Mall Road ( The preferred destination for shopping and a leisurely walk). Next on this trip is a visit to the famous Viceregal Lodge ( A UNESCO World Heritage site, the manicured lawn and the imposing structure has been a centre of attraction on the Observatory hill. It now houses the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies but guided tours are available in and around the complex). Another latest addition to these attractions is the newly opened Johhnie’s Wax Museum ( Located at the far end of the Mall Road, it features life-sized statues of famous Hollywood and Bollywood personalities like Madam Tussaud’s Museum in London). If you are looking forward to shopping for traditional HImachali items, closeby to the Ridge is Lakkar Bazar ( A market for hand made wooden artifacts and souvenirs) and Tibetan market (A budget friendly market for clothes and accessories).

Day 3 / Tour 2 ( Shimla local sightseeing tour)

Temple tour- This includes visits to Jakhoo temple ( Dedicated to Lord Hanuman, at an altitude of 2450m above sea level, it commands a unique view of the surrounding hills), Kalibari temple ( Built in 1845 and dedicated to Goddess Kali, also known as Shamala Mata, from which Shimla derives its name), Tara devi temple (Located on the peak of the Tarav Parvat 12 kms from Shimla town, this temple is dedicated to Maa Bhagwati Tara Devi) and Sankat Mochan Temple (At a distance of 5 KMS from Shimla, this famous  temple temple has a motorable road and a great view of Shimla city)

Day 4 / Tour 3 ( Sightseeing at places close to the city )

Kufri- Fagu-Narkanda Tour-  Drive to Kufri (Popular location for sightseeing, this destination is located at an altitude of 2630 m above sea level with a 360 degree view of the surrounding snow capped mountains. Besides taking Yak rides and Horse rides you can also see black bears, musk deers and leopards at the Himalyan national Park). On the way to Kufri, you also come across Green Valley (Excellent views of valley covered in dense forests and untouched by civilisation). Next on this tour is the quaint little village Fagu ( Located at an altitude of 2450m, this place has a unique ambience with rare views of the higher mountain ranges and vivid dales ). Next on this famous Hindustan-Tibet Road lies Narkanda ( The gateway to the apple countryside of Himachal Pradesh, Narkanda is surrounded by dense forests of Himalayan spruce, cedar and Devdar. This place offers spectacular views of high snow ranges during all seasons). An 8 Km uphill trek through dense Devdar forest takes you to Hatu Peak which has the famous Hatu Mata temple at a height of 3475m above sea level.).

Day 5 ( Return from Shimla to Delhi -370 KMS or Shimla to Chandigarh-113 KMS)

After breakfast and Check out from your Hotel, drive towards Chandigarh or Delhi. After reaching in evening time drop off with happy memories at Airport or railway station as required.
